Vannexo Media (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

1. Who is responsible for your information

Vannexo Media is the responsible party for personal information collected on this website. You can contact us about privacy matters at info@vannexomedia.co.za.

2. Information we collect

When you send an enquiry

• Your name, company name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
• The construction services you offer, your main service area and whether you serve residential or commercial customers
• Your advertising objectives and, if you choose to provide it, an indication of your monthly advertising budget

When you book a call

• Your name, company name, email address, phone number, construction trade and service area
• Your chosen appointment time and any notes about your advertising goals

Automatically

• How you arrived at the site (for example, the advertising campaign or website that referred you), recorded in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days so we can understand which campaigns produce enquiries
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used only for rate limiting and spam prevention. We do not store your IP address itself
• If you allow it, anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). These are not loaded unless you opt in through the cookie banner

3. Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and to arrange, confirm, remind you of and manage booked calls
• To discuss whether our advertising services suit your business and, if you engage us, to provide them
• To keep internal records of enquiries and follow-ups
• To protect the website against spam and abuse
• With your consent, to measure how the website and our own adverts perform

We process this information on the basis of your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and for our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business. We do not sell your information.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers (operators) who process information on our behalf:

• Supabase — secure database hosting for enquiries and bookings
• Vercel — website hosting
• Resend — sending confirmation and notification emails
• Google Analytics and Meta — only if you consent to analytics or advertising measurement

Some of these providers store information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on providers that are bound by agreements and safeguards providing an adequate level of protection, as required by section 72 of POPIA.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our business relationship, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or you become a client. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

6. How we protect it

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Only authorised staff can view enquiries and bookings. Booking management links are unique to you; please do not share them.

7. Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

• Ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy
• Ask us to correct or delete your information
• Object to processing, or withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out)
• Change your cookie choices at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of essential first-party cookies and storage items: to remember your cookie choices, to record campaign attribution, and (for administrators only) to keep you signed in. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you agree.
